How do I make my gift to SOAR?  

You can make a secure, mobile-friendly gift directly on this site using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, ApplePay, or PayPal. Click “Give Now” at the top of the page, or on any individual group’s campaign. There, under “Designation,” select the student group you want to support. You can also select “Unrestricted Gift to YaleSOAR.” Your unrestricted gift will provide funding for registered student groups, including SOAR participants and general support for student org programming at Yale. 

If an online gift will not work for your purposes, you may make an offline gift to SOAR by check, by phone, through a wire transfer, or donated securities. Please visit Making Your Gift to YaleSOAR for more information about offline gift options.  

Will my gift count for Alumni Fund and/or Parents Fund credit? 

Yes! All gifts to SOAR during the giving week (Feb. 3-10) are eligible for Alumni Fund and/or Parents Fund credit. 

Is my gift tax-deductible? 

Yes. All gifts to SOAR are tax-deductible. You will receive an email receipt for tax purposes after you make your gift. 

Which student groups are participating in SOAR this year?  

You can explore participating groups by clicking through the campaign pages above, or by using the search bar at the top of the page. A full list of participating groups is available here.

I don’t see a particular student group. Why are they not participating?  

SOAR is open to all undergraduate student organizations who are registered with the Yale College Dean’s Office. Any group who meets these requirements can choose to participate, but student leaders must opt-in to the program by applying. If you do not see a particular group below and would like them to consider participating in SOAR next year, please feel free to reach out to the group directly.

Share, share, share! Becoming a SOAR Advocate has great tips & tricks for maximizing your impact on SOAR and sharing with your networks. You can also consider initiating a Match or Challenge to encourage members of a certain class year, affiliation, or community to make their gift. Your support will have an incredible impact on our students' success!
